CLAR MOONCALF AT BAY STUDIOS

“You enter through the backdoor, casually dressed in your most dapper attire. You are greeted by homemade cookies, fresh brewed tea. You step inside the large recording studio, and choose a comfy cushion or chair to sit. Then the lights dim… and the rest has to do with guitarpicking, piano crescendos, kalimba that sounds like rainfall, and two powerfully delicate female voices that string poetry lyrics into story-webs before your eyes and ears…

When the music ends, you linger, meet the musicians, the recording engineer, the guests. Maybe play the grand piano ! And a short while later, you listen to your own recording of the performance, and say, “Hey, I think I hear my voice harmonizing to this song.”
